About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Supervisor to join our Qualifications Development Directorate within the NQ Assessment team. This pivotal role involves supervising the production and delivery of assessment materials across various subject areas, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with set standards. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and customer support to internal teams and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth operations and maintaining the integrity of assessment processes.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to contribute to Scotland’s national qualifications framework, ensuring assessments are delivered efficiently and effectively. The role is based in Dalkeith, with a hybrid work style, offering flexibility to balance work and personal commitments.

Qualifications

  • Educated to SCQF level 6 (SVQ 3/Higher or above)
  • Proven experience in administrative supervision or related roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other IT systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document formatting, proofreading, and data analysis
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the production and delivery of assessment materials across diverse subject areas
  • Provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Format, proofread, and review documents in accordance with house style guidelines
  • Collate, track, and analyze data related to assessment material production and distribution
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assessment administration
