As an Activities Coordinator at Discovery Care, you will work closely with the home manager / deputy manager to organise both social and person-centred activities to meet the needs and requests of our residents, ensuring they receive the exceptional care and support that they so deserve.

As an Activities Coordinator at Discovery Care, you will work closely with the home manager / deputy manager to organise both social and person-centred activities to meet the needs and requests of our residents, ensuring they receive the exceptional care and support that they so deserve.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for liaising with Care Staff regarding potential activities that will be beneficial to our residents, and arranging appropriate activities, such as light exercise, arts & crafts, puzzles, knitting, sing-a-longs, days out, seasonal events and lots more.
- We would also expect you to organise special cultural activities, catering to religious calendars for example: Hanukkah, Diwali, Christmas, Easter, Et Al
- Keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the residents, ensuring they enjoy the activities offered to them.
