We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds having recently opened a brand-new Home in Central Worthing, named The Poets. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.

We are recruiting for an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at Abundant Grace in Seaford.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that on a day-to-day basis the social and welfare needs of the residents are met. You will be supporting the Activities Lead in implementing comprehensive and meaningful activities that reflects the needs, capabilities, interests and skills of the residents in your care.
Job Responsibilities
Hours: 40hrs per week – 9am – 5pm this will include working every other weekend.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that on a day-to-day basis the social and welfare needs of the residents are met. Job Responsibilities
- To help create a varied, stimulating and meaningful activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home. Ensure that daily and weekly activities/ events are clearly displayed.
- To support in the organisation and co-ordination of one to one and group activities for residents, bespoke to their individual interests and choices.
- To help plan and organise an activities programme that progresses over time.
- Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference
- Kind and caring with a positive approach
- Energetic and hard-working;
- Team player
- Experience of coordinating, organising
- To be able to communicate effectively both verbal and written
