An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Local Service Division to manage Pine Ward, Hartley Hospital- mixed acute ward. Candidates need to have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills that will enable them to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire their colleagues at all levels, and have an understanding of leading and managing an acute inpatient ward.
Applicants need to be RN (MH) qualified/have a professional qualification with demonstrable post qualification experience at Band 6 level or above with inpatient/post registration experience.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire your colleagues at all levels, and have an understanding of leading and managing a service.
You will be expected to demonstrate good clinical assessment skills, positive use de-escalation techniques particularly whilst being able to listen in order to respond to service users need.
Continuous improvement, delivering care that makes a positive difference to the lives of our service users, their families and carers. We work in partnership with our service users/carers, so if you are successfully appointed you will work with our service users/carers to enable them to achieve their recovery goals and live their lives to the full.
Accountability and professionalism is fundamental part of our nurses role and as a mental health nurse within our services, we expect and will support you to feel safe and confident in the high standard of care that you deliver to our service users during their recovery.
Respect is what we expect, so that our service users, carers, their families and colleagues are in an environment that makes them feel listened to and heard as individuals.
