What You'll Do
As a Senior Controls Engineer at AA Nottingham, you’ll take ownership of designing, reviewing, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that meet client expectations and ensure smooth system integration.
Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish
- Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Produce, design and test documentation
- Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Perform testing with customers
- Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessions
- Intermediate-level experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
- Proven ability to interpret and create detailed control system design documentation.
- Strong grasp of the full technical project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.
- Excellent time management and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to make technical decisions independently.
- £50,000-£60,000 salary (experience dependent)
