We are seeking an Accounts Preparation Senior with a strong background in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice. You will focus on preparing accounts for a wide variety of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, particularly FRS 102 and 105.
- Produce clear and accurate financial statements, ensuring all client records are correctly maintained.
- Assist with the production of management accounts and related financial reports.
- Support colleagues and provide input on complex financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and updates.
- Communicate effectively with clients to answer queries and provide updates on the status of their accounts.
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent experience within an accountancy practice.
- Experience with IRIS software is advantageous, along with familiarity with Xero, Sage, or other accounting software.
- Known for your accuracy and attention to detail, you ensure quality in every task.
- Ability to manage multiple clients’ deadlines effectively, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards, particularly FRS 102 and 105.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to client queries and concerns.
