Accounts Payable Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures, along with proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Prophet is a plus). You will be responsible for processing invoices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update accounting records and vendor information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• To clearly communicate any areas of concern to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Prophet experience preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
