We are looking for a Supervisor to join RSM’s Outsourcing team, within the Accounting and Financial Reporting department, to provide finance function and management accounting services. Our Newcastle team work with a range of clients, including multinational clients across a number of sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy. We currently have a vacancy for a high-quality accountant to fill a supervisor role. Those fully qualified may be considered for an Assistant Manager role within our Outsourcing team.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Taking responsibility for a client portfolio
- Timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
- Supervising of assistant on bank reconciliation and sales/purchase ledger activities including ensuring correct and timely posting of invoices to General Ledger and AP/AR subledgers and timely and accurate execution of payments to vendors and other creditors
- Working with clients to resolve issues within finance function or accounting records and systems, and ensuring timely delivery and addressing of all required tasks
- Managing client relationships, building trust, monitoring quality standards and ensuring delivery of an excellent level of client service and stakeholder management

- Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA or minimum 5 years QBE. Candidates fully qualified in ACCA/ACA will be considered for Assistant Manager level
- Proficient in the use of IT including MS Excel, Outlook, Teams and accounting packages, and aptitude for learning new systems
- On-going demonstration of highlighting potential business opportunities to the relevant Outsourcing Manager, and self-learning of RSM’s markets and core-client base.
- A collaborative approach to work and helping junior team members to develop professionally.
- Continuously reviewing internal team processes and proactively suggesting improvements to systems and encouraging better teamwork.
