Collectively Diverse C.I.C.
Date: 5 hours ago
City: Paignton
Contract type: Full time
Remote
Collectively Diverse CIC seeks a qualified volunteer to help prepare and submit our annual accounts to Companies House and our CT600 to HMRC. Your expertise will keep us compliant and allow us to focus on creating inclusive, supportive spaces for neurodivergent people and communities.
What difference will you make?
At Collectively Diverse C.I.C., we pour our hearts (and most of our hours!) into creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and valued, especially those who are neurodivergent or have felt excluded by traditional systems. Our training and consultancy, all focus on helping individuals and organisations embrace inclusion and wellbeing in meaningful, practical ways.
However, like all small community interest companies, we also have essential behind-the-scenes responsibilities that ensure everything runs smoothly and legally. By volunteering your expertise, you’ll be helping ensure that Collectively Diverse stays compliant, transparent, and financially well-organised. This, in turn, protects the stability and credibility of our organisation, giving funders, partners, and the community confidence that we’re managing our resources responsibly and sustainably.
Your contribution will also free up valuable time and headspace for our small team to focus on what we do best delivering inclusion training in schools and workplaces.
In short, your help will
Keep us compliant and confident with accurate, timely submissions to Companies House and HMRC.
Strengthen our foundations so we can continue growing and attracting funding.
Empower us to focus on impact, rather than admin, so more energy goes into changing lives and systems.
Model the power of community and collaboratiom, showing how skilled volunteers can amplify social change.
For us, this isn’t just about meeting a deadline, it’s about building capacity for long-term, values-led impact. You’ll be a vital part of helping us sustain and scale our mission to create a world where difference is understood, celebrated, and supported.
Your time, skills, and generosity will ripple far beyond the paperwork, they’ll help ensure that Collectively Diverse can continue empowering individuals, shaping inclusive cultures, and building a fairer future for all.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a qualified accountant who combines professional expertise with kindness, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting community-led work. You’ll be helping us with something essential — completing and submitting our annual accounts to Companies House and our Corporation Tax Return (CT600) to HMRC — ensuring Collectively Diverse CIC remains fully compliant and confident as we grow.
Our ideal volunteer is someone who is not only technically skilled, but also values-driven and understands the realities of small, purpose-led organisations. You’ll be comfortable working independently, able to explain things clearly, and happy to share your knowledge in a supportive way.
We’re looking for someone who
