Role Profile

Our Sales Account Managers help our small and medium sized customers improve their business through a consultative sales approach. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing client base and to independently generate, progress and close new system sales opportunities by identifying and pursuing new sales leads, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers to meet or exceed your sales targets. You will also be expected to stay up to date on industry trends and our company's product offering.

This position will be located in the United Kingdom and will report to our location in Lincoln, or may be located remotely for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the sales of products and services to existing Distribution users.
  • Perform demonstrations and have consultative discussions with business owners and decision makers, educating customers on features and benefits of our products and services
  • Use Salesforce.com to manage leads, opportunities, and activities.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone or email
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
  • Consistently hit monthly revenue quota by actively managing leads generation from marketing, monthly webinars, other campaigns and your own lead generation activity.
  • Manage accounts by helping to facilitate communication and problem resolution between customers, and other ECI departments.
  • Conduct sales activities both within an assigned list of leads as well as independently prospecting to generate new opportunities
  • Be responsible for the full sales cycle including identification of prospects needs, articulate how our solution differentiates from the competition, propose ROI, negotiate and win new business.
  • Identify market needs for our solutions and communicate with Product Marketing and Product Development.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrate previous B2B sales experience in the software industry
  • Have experience or familiarity with the Office Product and Distribution industry.
  • Understand sales methodologies and can evidence how these have supported previous sales achievements.
  • Track record in acquiring net new business
  • Be organized and analytical with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills and can deliver web-based sessions (MS Teams, GoToMeeting etc.).
  • Are proficient with MS Office and working with CRMs, preferably Salesforce.
  • Can communicate professionally both verbally and in written responses to emails, RFPs and Meet or exceed your sales quota numbers on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Demonstrates track record in building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships within an assigned list of existing customer accounts.
  • Be able to position, quote and sell the value of our solutions to our installed base of customers
  • Meet or exceed outbound touch call quotas on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Mitigate churn risk with effective dispute resolution and by collaborating other departments when the need arises
