About The Role
As an Accelerated Sales Engagement Specialist (RISE ASE), you will play a pivotal role in driving SAP’s cloud transformation journey by helping customers modernize and optimize their business through RISE with SAP. Within the RISE EMEA Regional team you will be supporting the Market Unit sales teams with managing complex enterprise sales engagements from early qualification to final deal negotiation and closing. In addition you will be expected to evangelise and take lead on enabling the local RISE ASE teams on some of the key commercial vehicles available for RISE engagements.
This role demands a combination of strong commercial acumen, good understanding of business processes, and expert knowledge of SAP’s cloud portfolio particularly within Cloud ERP Private. You will be a trusted advisor to the Market Unit sales teams as well as to some of SAP's most strategic clients. We look for a creative deal strategist, and a collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, consultative environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise Market Unit Account teams and select customers on business and commercial models, Cloud operating strategies and contractual frameworks.
- Support the Market Unit teams in developing and executing strategic account and opportunity plans that clearly articulate the value proposition
- Act as a scalable subject matter expert addressing complex opportunities by closely partnering with the broader Account Teams focusing on high-impact/strategic engagements
- On select large and strategic RISE engagements, be ready to lead-by-example in front of key/strategic customers, delivering compelling customer engagements, proposals and commercial options
- Partner with the global Rise with SAP organisation to execute programs.
- Take part in enablement of the Market Unit teams, particular on Commercial models and Programs.
- Execute strong sales practices around deal qualification and closure process
Functional Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in business software or IT solution sales.
- Proven track record in enterprise-level, complex sales cycles and consistent quota achievement.
- Strong knowledge of SAP’s solution portfolio (including RISE, Cloud ERP, Services, and Support).
- Demonstrated success in large transactions and long sales cycles within a competitive and consultative market.
- Understanding of financial, regulatory, and competitive environments (as applicable).
- Deep expertise in SAP’s solution portfolio and the value it drives for customers.
- Broad understanding of SAP’s business process landscape with in-depth knowledge in at least one Line of Business (LoB).
- Strong relationships across SAP Market Unit leadership, account teams, and industry groups are a plus.
- Ability to align with product and solution management teams to ensure strategic consistency and customer success.
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to connect ideas to execution.
- Strong executive presence and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Highly results-driven with a growth mindset and resilience under pressure.
