Role Overview:

As a 3rd Line Support Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing high-level support tickets and leading customer project work. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, resolving complex issues, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?

  • Technical Skills
  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and financial processes.
  • Experience with Dynamics BC integrations and troubleshooting related issues. Primarily BC / CE Integrations
  • Hands-on experience with ISV solutions such as Continia, Clever Dynamics, Cosmos, and Jet Reports.
  • Experience working with Power Platform tools — Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Certifications
  • MB-800: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate
  • PL-900 (Not mandatory)

As a D365 Business Central Support Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support & Incident Management
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex Dynamics 365 Business Central issues.
  • Manage and resolve high-level support tickets within SLA and KPI targets.
  • Provide remote support using service desk tools and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Support and troubleshoot Dynamics BC integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Coordinate with ISV vendors such as Continia, Clever Dynamics, Cosmos, and Jet Reports when required.
  • Customer Project Delivery
  • Lead small to medium-sized customer projects, including upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Provide guidance and support for ISV solutions and integration configurations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration
  • Identify opportunities to improve support processes and customer experience.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the wider team.
  • Work closely with consultants, developers, and account managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
