As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will manage therapeutic activities for clients within an adult acute admissions ward. With the support of nursing staff and ward managers the post holder will develop and sustain a therapeutic activities timetable for the ward and on an individual client basis ensuring that each client has an individual therapeutic activities plan. The post holder works on a regular basis without direct supervision from a registered nurse.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
