Job description
We are seeking an experienced Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Executive (Paralegal) to join our Woking office, supporting our growing Private Client team.
This role is ideal for someone with previous private client experience who is confident managing their own work and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and expanding team.
You will support the Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning team as it continues to grow, undertaking a mix of independently managed work and assisting on more complex matters. The role will involve running your own caseload of simple probate matters, managing files from initial instruction through to completion.
You will attend client meetings to take instructions for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney alongside senior team members and will be responsible for drafting related legal documents accurately and efficiently. In addition to your own caseload, you will provide support to the Woking team on more complex probate matters, working closely with senior colleagues and assisting with document preparation and progression of files.

- Previous experience in private client work is essential
- Experience running files or assisting with probate matters
- Confident drafting Wills, LPAs and related documentation
- Comfortable attending client meetings and dealing directly with clients
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
- Manage straightforward probate matters with minimal supervision
- Support senior fee earners on more complex private client cases
- Attend client meetings and assist with taking instructions
- Draft Wills, LPAs and other private client documentation
- Maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy and client care
