We have a great team of 13 Veterinary Surgeons (the majority of whom are certificate holders), 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Kennel Assistants and a Lab Technician.
Practice Highlights
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Practice Highlights
- Work closely alongside referral Veterinary Surgeons who hold certificates across a variety of small animal disciplines
- Clinical independence supported by a well-equipped internal laboratory, in-house endoscopy and on-site CT
- Additional facilities include digital radiography, Doppler ultrasonography, a purpose-built dental suite and a mobile MRI service
- Opportunity to follow cases through advanced investigations and treatments without external referral
- Recently refurbished branches providing a modern working environment aligned with referral hospital standards

Working Pattern
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team in Northampton.
- No out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities
- Choice of 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days
- Saturday shifts on a rota with time off in lieu
- Flexible rota patterns available to support individual circumstances and work-life balance
You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
