Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at AlphaPet on a part-time basis.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 25 hours per week

• Shifts between 8:00am – 7:00pm across our three surgeries

• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets with a professional and caring approach

• Answering calls, responding to enquiries and managing appointment bookings

• Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy reception area

• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records

• Liaising effectively with the veterinary and nursing teams

• Keeping the reception area clean, calm and inviting
