This is a high-impact, fixed-term contract where you will lead the digital translation of a major brand refresh. Working with Figma and collaborating with top-tier external agencies, you’ll be the creative force behind the redevelopment of a high-traffic flagship website that reaches millions of users globally.

The Role
- Lead the end-to-end UX and UI design for a major website redevelopment project, ensuring a seamless and emotive user journey.
- Collaborate with an external design agency to develop, embed, and scale a robust new Design System.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and UI components that balance aesthetic excellence with strict accessibility requirements.
- Advocate for User-Centred Design (UCD) principles across the organization, working closely with Product Managers and Developers.
- Translate complex historical archives and content into meaningful, interactive digital experiences that drive engagement.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer working on large-scale websites or complex digital products within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Expert proficiency in Figma for building advanced prototypes and managing shared design libraries.
- Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and experience designing for diverse, inclusive audiences.
- Strong background in evidence-led design, including usability testing, journey mapping, and heuristic analysis.
- The ability to communicate design trade-offs and rationale to senior stakeholders using data and research insights.
