We're looking for a Transport First Line Manager to play a key role in leading our driver team, delivering safe and efficient transport operations, and ensuring service and performance targets are achieved across the network.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Leading and supporting drivers to deliver safe, legal, and efficient transport operations during your shift
  • Managing daily transport plans and responding to operational challenges as they arise
  • Conducting driver briefings, debriefings, and regular one-to-one performance conversations
  • Monitoring driver and fleet compliance, including vehicle checks, defects, and legal requirements
  • Working closely with transport, warehouse, and network teams to achieve service and KPI targets

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Have a sound understanding of transport operations, including Drivers' Hours, Working Time Regulations, and transport compliance
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage competing priorities across multiple contracts
  • Are comfortable making decisions independently and taking ownership of operational challenges
  • Have experience leading, engaging, and managing large driver teams to deliver strong operational performance
  • Take a modern, people-focused approach to leadership, balancing performance, wellbeing, and accountability
