Transport Administrator

Pay Rate: £27,581.87
Grade: P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm (flexibility will be required, as you maybe asked to stay on occasions)
Location: Bristol

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Planning regular transport lines and ad-hoc requests between UK and Europe
• Requesting quotes and booking transport with third party carriers
• Liaise with customers regarding transport needs and all relevant documentation is received
• Send customs clearance requests to DHL customs broker and enter arrival details for European customs
• Track clearances and deliveries to ensure all transport requests are fulfilled as per customer' request
• Communicate with cutomers and carriers
• Ensure all documentation is correct and sent to loaders, carriers and arrival destinations on a timely manner
• Create goods movement reference when required
• Update KPIs with collection and delivery times for each transport request
• Keep European tracker updated
• Assist with cfx uploads and debrief payments
• Input in finance report
• Create back up report to attach to customer invoice

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Strong background in transport administration and general administrative support
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
