Job Description
As a Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) processes. You will be responsible for performing technical tasks that support the production and distribution of our products, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
You will report directly to a Supervisor and will work out of our Southend location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Your technical expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions that enhance our operational capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment through the Total Preventative Maintenance Programme (TPM) to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by monitoring parameters and metrics.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency while ensuring high quality standards.
- Uphold health and safety standards, promote safe working practices, and utilize continuous improvement tools to drive performance enhancements.
Key skills and qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience in a technical or maintenance role within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with capability to work independently.
- Proficiency with technical tools and equipment relevant to maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative team environments.
- Continuous improvement mindset, supported by technical certification or relevant degree in a related field.
