Role Overview
As a Hyundai Technician at Paul Rigby Ltd, you will play a key role in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of vehicles. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs efficiently, and supporting the smooth operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of parts, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and support workshop efficiency.
- Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies and undertake relevant training as required.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Hyundai Technician or similar role within the automotive & driving sector.
- Relevant vocational qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and thorough approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred.
