3t is currently looking to recruit a Survival Instructor on a permanent contract in North Shields, Tyne & Wear, England.

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The standard working pattern will be 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Role

To deliver 3t’ approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’ business integrity and culture.

Duties And Responsibilities

To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirementsUse a wide range and depth of technical or specialised knowledge, providing technical leadership and expert adviceConvey information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationaleTo support customers during course delivery as appropriateTo obtain positive customer feedback following course completion in line with KPIs set within personal development planTo participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as requiredTo provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriateTo support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and the continual improvement of existing coursesDemonstrate excellent organisational and time management skillsDemonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the EnvironmentApply 3t and where appropriate Client’s HSE Policies and Procedures.Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times

Essential Criteria

Industry recognised Assessor qualification, SQA / OPITO or equivalentIndustry recognised instructor / teaching qualificationKnowledge & understanding of the OPITO BOSIET / FOET / HUET products

Desirable Criteria

Knowledge & experience with GWO products
