Do you want to make a real difference to people’s lives the moment they leave hospital? Are you looking for a rewarding role that could kick start your career in the health and social sector?
We’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and full of positive energy to join our Health and Care team as a Support Worker. If you’re the type of person who enjoys helping others feel safe and supported, you could make a real difference in someone’s life. No formal care experience? That’s okay. If you’re patient, thoughtful, and can make someone feel at ease, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
As a Support Worker, you’ll be a lifeline for people who may be feeling vulnerable after a hospital stay. Whether it’s helping with shopping, checking in with a phone call, or simply being a friendly face, your support will help people live more independently. It’s more than just a job - it’s a chance to give back, grow your skills, and be part of a team that truly cares.
What will a day in the life of a Support Worker involve?
In return for your commitment and expertise, you’ll get:
We are dedicated to building an inclusive, equitable and wellbeing‑focused culture where everyone feels safe, valued and can thrive. Guided by our Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Strategy, we foster belonging, psychological and physical wellbeing, and work to remove barriers to fair opportunities. Grounded in compassion and anti‑racist practice, we listen to diverse voices, value lived experience and create environments where staff and volunteers can succeed. Join us and be part of an organisation that leads with care, celebrates difference and helps everyone succeed.
Together, we are the world's emergency responders
