The rewards

• £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour after 12 weeks
• Temporary with potential to transition to permanent for the right candidate

Hours

• Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30
• Occasional weekend shifts as required

The role of Street Cleansing Operative:

• Manual street cleaning and litter collection
• Operating equipment and handling heavy loads
• Walking long distances and working in all weather conditions
• Driving the van from location to location after completing a driving assessment

The ideal Street Cleansing Operative:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• A friendly, professional manner when interacting with the public
• Ability to complete daily reports accurately

Additional training may be provided to operate street sweeping machinery, based on performance.
