Street Cleansing Operative - Harlow
The rewards
- £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour after 12 weeks
- Temporary with potential to transition to permanent for the right candidate
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30
- Occasional weekend shifts as required
The role of Street Cleansing Operative:
- Manual street cleaning and litter collection
- Operating equipment and handling heavy loads
- Walking long distances and working in all weather conditions
- Driving the van from location to location after completing a driving assessment
The ideal Street Cleansing Operative:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- A friendly, professional manner when interacting with the public
- Ability to complete daily reports accurately
Additional training may be provided to operate street sweeping machinery, based on performance.
