Key Responsibilities

Asset and Pipeline Data Analysis

  • Extract and interpret data from global pharmaceutical and biotech databases.
  • Weight and evaluate datasets to identify high-potential opportunities for Uniphar’s business growth strategy.
  • Conduct research on emerging products and clinical trial updates.
  • Track and summarise milestone events such as: PDUFA dates, clinical trial readouts, BLA/MAA submissions, regulatory designations
  • Produce clear summaries, insights, and recommendations for senior BD and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the use of internal and CRM data to generate insights that drive Uniphar’s business growth strategy.
  • Support continuous refinement of Uniphar’s opportunities through our screening and diligence approach.

Market and Competitor Intelligence

  • Monitor news, publications, and regulatory updates relevant to the global pharma landscape.
  • Prepare briefing notes and presentations for BD strategy discussions.
  • Monitor competitor activity, synthesise insights, and present findings on a periodic basis to support wider business strategy.

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for a technically skilled and commercially aware individual who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment:

  • Recent graduate or early-career candidate with a degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot trends, inconsistencies, or anomalies in data.
  • Confident with Excel and comfortable learning new analytical tools.
  • Strong written communications skills, with the ability to turn data into insights.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.

Desirable But Not Essential

  • Familiarity with clinical trials, regulatory milestones, or drug development concepts.
  • Experience using CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with analysis of reports out of PowerBI.
  • Interest in advanced therapies, rare disease, or cell and gene therapy sectors.
  • Basic data visualisation experience.
