Key Responsibilities:

As a Spinal Injury Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Providing full personal care and daily living support.
  • Assisting with manual handling and hoist transfers.
  • Administering medication in line with care plans and company procedures.
  • Delivering catheter, bowel and bladder care.
  • Recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records.
  • Building positive relationships with the service user while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience providing care for individuals with spinal injuries.
  • Experience recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
  • Medication competency and manual handling training.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Calm, professional and reliable approach to care delivery.
  • A positive, bubbly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Shift Availability:

This role involves supporting a middle-aged gentleman with a spinal injury on a 1:1 basis in Chippenham.

Available shifts include:

  • Day Shifts: 9:00am – 9:00pm
  • Waking Night Shifts: 9:00pm – 9:00am

Shifts are available 7 days per week.
