Specialist Educational Psychologist

Help shape inclusive practice for children and young people across County Durham.

We’re looking for an experienced Specialist Educational Psychologist to join our supportive SEND and Inclusion Support Service.

You’ll combine Educational Psychology practice with strategic and specialist work, with a particular focus on cognition and learning. You’ll help develop evidence-based approaches in schools, support the development of Durham’s approach to executive functioning, contribute to wider SEND priorities, and provide supervision and support to colleagues.

Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary service supporting over 260 schools, this is an opportunity to influence practice at both an individual and system-wide level.

You’ll need a recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology, appropriate EP experience and HCPC registration.
