About Caddy Comps

Caddy Comps is the UK’s leading golf prize competition platform. Founded in 2021 and based in Stamford, Lincolnshire, we’ve awarded over £14m in prizes to more than 30,000 winners, with a 5-star Trustpilot rating from over 6,300 reviews to show for it.

We’re now building the marketing team and infrastructure to take us to the next level and this is one of our most important hires.

The Role

This is a content-first, execution-focused role. Our Head of Marketing will set the strategy, your job is to bring it to life at pace and volume across every relevant social channel.

Caddy Comps has a brilliant product, a loyal following, and a roster of partners, ambassadors and talent that most brands would kill for. Right now we’re not fully capitalising on any of it organically. You’ll fix that. We need a Social Media Manager who can produce and publish high volumes of compelling content, build our community, and tell us clearly what’s working and why.

This is not a strategy role. We want someone who’s hands-on, fast-moving, and proud of their output.

Tasks

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Plan, produce, and publish a high volume of organic content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X

  • Create short-form video, reels, stories, carousels, and static content often on the same day

  • Work with ambassadors and partners to produce content that feels authentic and on-brand

  • Manage the content calendar and ensure a consistent publishing cadence across all channels

  • Repurpose and adapt content intelligently across formats and platforms

Community & Engagement

  • Manage and grow our social communities, respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in brand voice.

  • Identify and engage with relevant creators, golf influencers, and community accounts

  • Spot user-generated content opportunities and build them into the content plan

  • React to trends, moments, and cultural events in golf quickly and creatively

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report on organic social performance weekly: reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, click-throughs

  • Identify what’s working and feed those insights back into the content plan

  • A/B test content formats, captions, posting times, and hooks. Treat it like a testing programme, not a posting schedule

  • Share learnings regularly with the Head of Marketing to inform broader strategy

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing on campaign moments, product launches, and ambassador activations

  • Brief and coordinate with freelance creators or videographers when needed

  • Ensure social content is aligned with the wider brand and paid media activity

Requirements

Essential

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a social media or content role, ideally in-house for a consumer brand

  • Demonstrable portfolio of content you’ve created and published — we want to see your work

  • Strong short-form video skills: you can shoot, edit, and publish a reel or TikTok without a production team

  • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — you understand the algorithm, not just the platforms

  • Analytical mindset: you track your own performance and act on what you find

  • High output, low ego — you’re comfortable publishing volume without every post being a masterpiece

  • Excellent written voice: you can write captions that feel human, not corporate

Nice to Have

  • Passion for golf, sport, or the competition/gaming space

  • Experience working with ambassador or influencer talent

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)

  • Experience running or supporting paid social campaigns

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on skill level and experience

  • Hybrid working, 2 days per week with the team in our Stamford office

  • Creative freedom within a clear strategic framework

  • A genuinely exciting brand to work on: great product, great ambassadors, growing fast

  • Direct access to the Head of Marketing and a small, high-performing team

  • The chance to build something, this role will grow as the brand grows
