This position is for a motivated Showroom assistant to greet customers, help them find what
they need, and make their experience in store a positive one.

**This is a full-time position (39.5 hours a week.) You will be required to work Saturdays (9.45-
4.45pm) with a day off in the week, and Sundays off.

Who you are
Our ideal applicant is someone who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge. The
successful candidate will receive on-the-job training but must have the ability to work well in a
fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a in a team. If you love a challenge and
have good knowledge of musical instruments, specifically on the guitar/Keys side of things, we
can’t wait to see your CV!

What you will do
You will welcome our customers into the showroom, help them to find what they are looking for
and provide great customer service:
• Providing advice to customers regarding instruments in the showroom, mainly guitars
and keys.
• Demonstration of instruments and musical equipment
• Stock control and management
• Ensuring the Showroom is always well stocked and well presented
• Addressing and solving any customer service issues in a professional and efficient
manner
• Being adaptable and able to assist customers with purchases outside of your specialist
area

• Excellent knowledge of guitar brands and products
• Confident and friendly manner towards customers and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy – MS-Office, Outlook and Internet
• Good technical understanding of musical instruments
• Experience in product presentation and have a good eye for detail
• Professional experience in retail or customer service is an advantage
