To keep our world-class systems running at their best, we’re looking for a Technical Assistant (Shift) to join our Engineering Operations team – helping maintain equipment, support maintenance activities, and ensure technical areas remain safe, clean, and efficient.

The Role

As a Technical Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our engineering operations run seamlessly.

The role is shift based to support the 24/7 operation of the CFC. You will work the Panama shift pattern to support continuous operations, benefiting from a competitive salary and benefits.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supporting maintenance activities across the site.
• Keeping technical areas safe, clean, and organised to a high standard.
• Resolving minor faults within your training and escalating issues where needed.
• Assisting the engineering team on planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring equipment is cared for, secure, and used safely.
• Completing paperwork accurately and on time
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

Strong communication is key – you’ll escalate issues promptly and share knowledge with your team to help everyone succeed. You’ll work closely with:

• Engineering Operations Management
• CFC Operations
• Buildings Technology
• Project Engineering
• Site Services
• We’re looking for someone who is:
• Organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A good problem-solver with a practical approach.
• A clear communicator, able to produce simple reports when needed.
• Flexible in working patterns to meet business needs.
• Self-motivated, consistent, and able to work at pace.
• A real team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
• Previous experience in an engineering service support role within an automated production environment would be highly advantageous **
