Are you an organised, friendly and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy, people-facing environment? King Edward’s School, Bath is seeking 2 professional and approachable Administrator & Receptionists to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our Senior School.
This is a varied and rewarding role combining front-of-house responsibilities with high-level administrative support. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils, you will be central to creating a welcoming and efficient environment, while also supporting a wide range of school activities including events, co-curricular provision and key operational processes.
Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will contribute to the vibrant life of the school and help ensure the highest standards of service across our community.

Each role is permanent, part-time, term-time only:
Role A is 8am-1pm (25 hours per week).
Role B is 11am-5pm (27.5 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities


  • Providing high-quality administrative support across Senior School functions.
  • Supporting the organisation of school events and co-curricular activities.
  • Delivering a professional reception service, including managing visitors and operating the switchboard.
  • Supporting internal communications and day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Assisting with HR administration, admissions coordination and general school processes.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Experience in an administrative and/or customer-facing role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Calm, professional and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and telephone systems.
  • Discreet, reliable and committed to high standards of service.
