We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join the team at Vertu BYD Hartlepool. Come and join us during this exciting phase of growth as an imminent dealership refurb is on the horizon. This role offers a basic salary of £30,000 with the opportunity to earn significant commission that can deliver earnings well in excess of our on-target level of £45,000.

In addition to delivering great earnings potential we will also deliver you true work-life balance. You will work a 40-hour work week, (five 8 hour shifts per week), and will be in most Saturdays, (our busiest sales day), and have a guaranteed day off during the week. We are closed on Sundays so you can sit back and relax on this day every week without fail.

As part of our team, you’ll represent a prestigious automotive brand known for quality and innovation, offering customers a premium experience every step of the way. You’ll receive full training and a thorough onboarding program to help you succeed and maximize your earning potential. You'll guide customers through a seamless and enjoyable car buying experience, from the first point of contact to the final handshake, you'll be responsible for organizing the end-to-end customer journey.

Experience as a Sales Executive within the motor industry is essential for you to be considered for this role. To ensure you are a great fit with our existing high performing colleagues, you will need to be able to demonstrate the 5 untouchables - Drive, Attitude, Talent, Character and Energy.

Requirements

  • Currently working as a Sales Executive in the automotive industry (minimum 12 months)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Full UK driver's licence (Manual and Automatic)
  • Assist the Business Manager and provide full operational cover during periods of leave or absence
