Senior Sales Adviser

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Advisor based in our Sedgefield branch!

Working hours: This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 7:30am – 17:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.  

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Provide a welcoming, professional service to customers, building strong relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone) understanding their needs to offer appropriate products and solutions to deliver the best customer experience possible.
• Develop and maintain a good knowledge of our product range to provide accurate advice and support.
• Process customer orders, payments, deliveries and account updates using in-house systems, keeping customers informed throughout their journey.
• Receive, check and store deliveries, reporting any missing or damaged items.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through replenishment and regular stock counts.
• Pick, pack, load and unload customer orders safely and efficiently, including manual handling and forklift operation (training provided).
• Maintain high standards of branch presentation, ensuring the shop floor, warehouse and customer areas are clean, organised and well-stocked.
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures and housekeeping standards, promoting a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.
• Support branch performance by contributing to sales, service improvements and wider business initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing training and development and undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the branch.
