A Strategic HR Leadership Opportunity

As Komplex Group continues to grow across healthcare, social care, supported accommodation and clinical services, we're looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping our people strategy and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

This is a senior leadership opportunity requiring a commercially focused HR professional with significant experience within the healthcare, social care or wider regulated care sector.

Sector experience is essential. The complexity of our services, regulatory responsibilities and diverse workforce requires an HR leader who understands the operational challenges of regulated care environments and can provide credible strategic advice, practical HR solutions and confident leadership from day one.

Working closely with Directors and senior leaders across the Group, you'll influence business decisions, lead organisational change, manage complex employee relations matters and help create a high-performing culture that enables our teams to deliver exceptional care.

The Role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll provide both strategic and operational HR support across the Group, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver people-focused solutions that align with business objectives.

You'll lead on complex employee relations matters, organisational change, workforce planning, leadership coaching and policy development while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, CQC regulations and HR best practice.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident challenging constructively, influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Directors and senior managers to provide strategic HR advice aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and organisational change.
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability and people management skills.
  • Support organisational design, restructures, workforce planning and change programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, CQC regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyse workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support succession planning, talent development and leadership initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with Recruitment, Learning & Development and operational teams to enhance the employee experience.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic People projects across the Group.
  • Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure HR systems, records and reporting remain accurate, compliant and up to date.

Essential

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner or similar senior HR generalist role.
  • Previous HR experience within healthcare, social care, complex care, domiciliary care or another regulated care environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Extensive experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to balance people priorities alongside operational objectives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 desirable).

Desirable

  • Experience supporting CQC-regulated services.
  • Experience managing TUPE, acquisitions or organisational growth.
  • Experience developing HR strategies and people initiatives.
  • Knowledge of organisational development and workforce planning.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and HR analytics.
