About The Role

As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and members of the public. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, making it ideal for someone looking for stability and work-life balance.

You'll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and visible presence on site at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
• Carrying out patrols and identifying potential risks
• Responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations
• Providing excellent customer service and site support
• Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with colleagues and external services when required
• Ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous security experience
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
