About The Role
As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and members of the public. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, making it ideal for someone looking for stability and work-life balance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
- Carrying out patrols and identifying potential risks
- Responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations
- Providing excellent customer service and site support
- Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with colleagues and external services when required
- Ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
