Our Children's Residential Home Ribble are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join their team. Our 2 bedded home supports young people aged 7-18 with, with a variety of needs such as emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. We pride ourselves on our nurturing, family - style environment, with a theraputic approach to our care. We are a warm and welcoming home and the daily living experiences and activities we provide for our young people are meaningful, memorable and designed to suit the individual needs of each young person, to ensure that they are at the forefront of all we do!
At Aspris, we want every young person to feel understood, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why our homes are shaped around the needs of each child - this ensures that all of our young people get the support that’s shaped around their strengths, challenges, and goals.
Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is essential.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be at the centre of the fun! Taking young people to see their friends, trips to the cinema, partaking in community events such as fundraisers and galas, teaching the young people to cook, encouraging them to be independent and many other brand new opportunities that they may never have had the chance to do previously. This role allows you to really make a difference to the lives of those under our care and to build strong relationships with the young people and staff alike.
