Join us as the welcoming face of St Brendan's Sixth Form College

We're looking for a friendly, well-organised and proactive Receptionist / Administrator to join our busy Central Administration Hub.

As the first point of contact for students, families, visitors and colleagues, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for everyone who interacts with the college - managing inboxes, coordinating enquiries, updating records or supporting the smooth running of college operations. If you enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering an outstanding front-of-house, telephone and online customer service experience
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring they receive a warm, professional welcome
  • Handling enquiries from students, families, staff and the public with confidence, professionalism and care
  • Managing shared inboxes, telephone calls and administrative processes efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the college through a wide range of administrative tasks
  • Maintaining records and systems to ensure excellent service and data integrity
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the college to deliver a coordinated, efficient and high-quality service

We're looking for someone who

  • Is experienced delivering exceptional customer service
  • Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • Can manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Remains calm, focused and productive in a lively and often noisy reception setting
  • Can concentrate on detailed administrative tasks while balancing interruptions and competing priorities
  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others
  • Takes pride in providing a professional, welcoming and efficient service

Why join us?

In return, you'll become part of a friendly and dedicated team where your contribution genuinely matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on organisation and wants to make a real difference to the daily experience of students, staff, families and visitors.
