At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

The post holder is required to provide a comprehensive reception and clinic preparation service for Nutrition & Dietetics using electronic patient record systems. The post holder will be required to liaise with patients and their carer's, other departments within the Trust both at Royal Stoke and County Hospitals as required and external contacts. The post holder must have the ability to work using their own initiative, having awareness of limitations, as well as working as a team member. There may be occasions when cover is required at our office at the County Hospital to support the Dietitians who work from there.

The post holder will be expected to exchange information with patients and carers requiring tact and diplomacy via our Dietetic Reception Service. There is also a requirement to communicate complicated information to other depwartments and external contacts.

The post holder will be required to use electronic patient records/management systems.

There will be a requirement to complete daily clinic preparation and outcomes.

The post holder will have a working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel and teams to fully support the Dietitian.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the Dietetic Resources, monitoring stock levels, ordering and attending the Resources Meeting quarterly.

The post holder will work closely with other Reception Assistants to prioritise daily tasks, monitoring mailboxes and action these as necessary.

The post holder will need to undertake monthly stationery orders alongside the other Reception Assistant.

The post holder will be required to undertake Electronic Patient Record Scanning.

The post holder will have daily telephone patient contact.

The post holder will be required to prioritise and organise their own workload.

The post holder will be required to have good keyboard skills.

There will be a requirement to support our dietetic patients in re-scheduling their appointments.

To ensure service continuity the post holder will be required to cross cover during times of absence within the team.
