We are now looking for a Project Lead who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. This entails leading and delivering software projects within the power industry, ensuring high quality, timely execution, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. To achieve this, you will be working together with project teams, including developers, testers and analysts, as well as internal stakeholders and customers


What you will be doing to make a difference:

  • Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration to deliver high-quality software solutions

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on progress, risks, and changes

  • Build strong client relationships and proactively identify opportunities to deliver additional value

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001, NESO, OFGEM)

  • Continuously improve delivery processes by incorporating lessons learned and stakeholder feedback

What you need to succeed:

  • Solid experience in project management, ideally within the energy or software industry

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery in a structured and proactive way

  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective solutions

  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive best practices in project delivery

The position reports to Project Manager. We are looking to hire for Volue office in Sedgefield but will be ready to consider other locations for the right candidate.
