Your Role

As a Product Support Engineering Manager within the Product Support department at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester you will support the LGI perimeter, and will be responsible for the management of the Product Support Engineering (PSE) team for Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester. The PSE team is responsible for meeting the technical needs from the airline customers. From answering queries and on-wing repairs, the PSE team play a key role in keeping our customers aircraft in the air. The team are responsible to for leading any in-service investigations. The PSE manager is the process owner for everything related to technical support of the Customer service back office.

  • Manage the Product Support Engineering team to ensure Customer satisfaction (Airlines, MROs and Aircraft manufacturers) in compliance with Safran rules and processes. Reporting to Product Support Director UK.
  • Develop the PSE team through appropriate training and development
  • Co-ordination of activity across cross-functional teams to resolve product and customer problems promptly
  • Coordinate with the Product Support Managers to ensure alignment of objectives and priorities, with transverse cooperation with PSE manages and teams across LGI division
  • Ensure technical support and communication with the Aircraft Manufacturers and the Airlines
  • Maintain and share In-service Experience documents, including data collection and sharing
