Zen Educate is working with a range of welcoming and well-supported schools across Stevenage and the surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join their teams on a long-term basis, with both full-time and part-time options available.
About the Role: As a long-term Primary Teacher, you will take ownership of your classroom, delivering engaging and structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. This is an opportunity to embed yourself within the school community, track pupil progress, and make a lasting impact, while maintaining a schedule that works for you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies, and working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
Who we’re looking for:We are seeking committed professionals who bring energy, resilience, and passion to the classroom.
- You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have at least one year of teaching experience.
- Confidence teaching across key stages, strong behaviour management, and excellent communication skills are essential.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for helping children thrive are key, along with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
Requirements: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply is required, along with the ability to commit to a long-term role on either a full-time or part-time basis.
