EQUANS is recruiting for a Premises Manager to join the team in Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School, Islington, London, N1 9QG. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £40,000.00 - 42,000.00 per annum depending on skills and experience and benefits package.


Shift Times :

Monday - Friday - 06:30 - 14:30 - 30 min break
Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 16:30 - 30 min break
Monday - Friday - 10:00 - 18:00 - 30 min break


Additional hours might be required at weekends to satisfy school needs these hours will be paid at overtime rate specified.


What will you deliver?


As the Premises Manager you will oversee the security, care and availability of the education premises its furniture, fittings and equipment, and mechanical and electrical assets. You will also ensure the physical environment of the premises is satisfactory for users; and to promote the efficient use of the Councils assets to support the educational objectives of the establishment and the activities of other site users.

Who we are looking for?

  • Experience in a Managing/assistant role
  • Plumbing or carpentry background preferred.
  • Physically fit.
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Experience of managing direct reports, cleaners/caretakers
  • Experience in an education environment
  • Enhanced DBS, or ability to achieve
  • First Aid Trained
