We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join Glenshane Vets on a full-time basis.
Salary up to £35,000 DOE

Glenshane Veterinary Group, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a Practice Manager to support our busy practices in Maghera, Fairhill and Dungiven. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive operational leader who enjoys working alongside a large clinical team while supporting people, processes and performance to deliver outstanding patient and client care.
Working closely with the Clinical Director, Head Nurse and wider management team, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practices, leading the non-clinical team and helping to create a positive, efficient and collaborative working environment.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As Practice Manager, you will lead the non-clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running, strong team performance and an outstanding client experience.
You’ll be responsible for operational delivery, people management and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver exceptional care.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and operational management of the practice
- Lead, support and develop the reception and administrative teams
- Manage staff rotas, annual leave planning and workforce scheduling to ensure appropriate practice cover
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, onboarding and induction
- Support employee engagement, performance management and staff development initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director and Head Nurse to deliver practice objectives and maintain high standards of service
- Monitor key performance indicators and support the achievement of business goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements
- Handle client feedback and support the resolution of complaints
You are an experienced people and operations manager with strong leadership capability. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a management role, ideally within healthcare, veterinary or another service-led environment
- Strong people management skills, including performance management and team development
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience managing change, complaints and complex situations with confidence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
