We are looking for a new PR & Outreach Executive to join our team based in Bedford. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home). Salary range for this position is from £25K to £27K (DOE)

About the Role

The PR & Outreach Specialist plays a key role within the Off-Page SEO team, building strong relationships with publishers and webmasters, producing compelling content for link acquisition, and delivering strategic link-building that supports client SEO performance, particularly in the iGaming sector.

The role leads on outreach campaigns and client account delivery, while also working closely with the Head of Off-Page SEO to shape and support PR-led activity for new and existing clients, with room for the position to develop into a more digital PR-focused remit over time.

Essential Skills
  • At least 1 years’ experience within off-page SEO (link building).
  • Demonstrable content writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality copy across a range of formats and client brand voices.
  • A knack for crafting compelling and persuasive written communication.
  • Proficiency in using outreach/SEO tools (e.g. BuzzStream or Ahrefs).
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to establish and track measurable goals.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Previous agency experience and ability to present and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content production and outreach optimisation (a plus!).

Desirable Skills
  • Some experience in SEO or content optimisation.
  • Line management experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Link diversity: Ensuring that the target is met for the number of new sites found each month.
  • Content quality and output: Delivering well-written, on-brand content assets that support link acquisition and campaign goals within agreed timelines.
  • Deadline adherence: All deliverables are on time for both soft and hard deadlines.
  • Outreach effectiveness & success: Maintaining a successful open rate, testing outreach techniques to secure link placements, and demonstrating success of live links from outreach activity.
  • PR support and impact (as the service matures): Contribution to PR campaigns and pitches, and the coverage and links generated from those activities.

Outreach & Link-Building:
  • Conduct in-depth research to develop and deliver ongoing strategic link-building plans that maximise ROI.
  • Source relevant publications and websites aligned with client needs.
  • Contribute to and develop strategic outreach campaigns to secure placements across a variety of outlets and locations.
  • Use your negotiation skills to secure placements within agreed parameters.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse campaign performance, optimising strategies for maximum success.
  • Conduct in-depth research to generate newsworthy and link-worthy content for link acquisition
  • Develop targeted content that meets publisher editorial standards and is purposefully designed to strengthen the quality and relevance of links acquired on behalf of clients.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse content campaign performance, optimising strategies for maximum success.
Digital PR & Development:
  • Identify PR-able hooks in client products, services, content and data.
  • Contribute ideas for digital PR campaigns — for example, data-led stories, expert commentary, and creative content — that can earn both links and media coverage.
  • Help prepare decks, outlines or talking points to propose PR activity to new and existing clients.
  • Support in the creation of campaigns, pitches and media lists, particularly in the iGaming and related sectors.
  • Track and report on coverage and links earned from PR activity, helping to shape how the agency measures digital PR success.
Lead and Empower Your Teammates:
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to your direct report, helping them achieve their weekly and monthly goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and setting SMART goals for development.
  • Participate in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help your team member reach their full potential.
  • Champion open communication and keep other team members informed of progress and any roadblocks.
  • Support team members in gaining exposure to emerging digital PR and content activity.
Be an Account Lead & Client Champion:
  • Take ownership of assigned client accounts, ensuring we deliver on outreach, content, and digital PR objectives within the designated timeframe.
  • Partner with Client Services to understand client requirements.
  • Provide transparent updates throughout the month, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and potential challenges.
  • Analyse link metrics and ensure placements and content meet client needs, proactively communicating every step of the way.
  • Actively participate in both team and client meetings, presenting insights, demonstrating your expertise, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Involvement in Strategy Sessions & KAM Planning sessions for allocated clients, understanding and contributing to outreach, content, and digital PR strategies and opportunities.
  • Contribute time each month to any assigned agency marketing plan and growth team activities e.g. newsletters, blog posts, client development plans.
  • Support the Head of Off-Page SEO in presenting proposed digital PR campaigns and expected outcomes to clients, where appropriate.
