Support Worker – Family Home | Southport, Merseyside £20 per hour | 20–25 hours per week
We're looking for two ( plus cover staff) warm, patient and genuinely lovely people to join the care team for a funny, charismatic young man in our family home in Southport
The role is Monday to Friday, 10am–2/3pm, plus two evenings per month (flexible by arrangement)
Full training provided. Long-term position
About the young person
He's a teenager with a brilliant sense of humour who will absolutely keep you on your toes. He's non-speaking but communicates confidently through sounds, PECS and Makaton
He has complex health needs and a learning disability, and he shares his home with a dog and a cat he adores — animal lovers very welcome
What we're looking for Experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential. A background in mental health nursing, general nursing, children's residential care, support work or social work is a real bonus. Makaton knowledge helpful but full training given
We need calm, kind, funny people who are in this for the long haul. If you genuinely enjoy connecting with young people and take pride in consistent, compassionate support, we want to hear from you
The package £20 per hour | Pension contributions | National Insurance fully covered | Full paid training provided
Pay: £20.00 per hour
