People Partner
AO World
Job Overview
About The Role
At AO, we want to make sure our customers are happy. When they have a smile on their face, we know we’ve done a good job. Did you know we have more 5* Trustpilot reviews than any other UK electrical retailer? We're rated ‘Excellent’ overall and have over 1 million customer reviews!
But what happens when our customers appliances reach the end of their life? That's where AO Recycling comes in - a business built on innovation, sustainability and finding better ways to do things every single day.
Every year, thousands of fridges, washing machines and other large domestic appliances need responsible recycling. At our specialist recycling facilities in Telford, we're turning yesterday's appliances into tomorrow's resources, recovering valuable materials, reducing waste and helping build a more sustainable future.
We're looking for a People Partner, based at our Telford site and reporting to the Group Recycling Director. You'll be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, helping shape the people agenda, from developing leaders and building capability to driving engagement, performance and culture, you'll play a key role in helping our teams thrive and our business grow.
This isn't a role for someone who likes sitting on the sidelines. We need someone who's curious, commercially minded and loves being close to the action. Someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing decisions and rolling their sleeves up to solve problems.
Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where our AOers can be at their best, because when our people succeed, our business does too.
Our people are our superpower, and we’re unstoppable when we’re together! We want your ideas to flow, and what better way to make that happen than being based onsite, 5 days a week, where our culture fuels creativity, collaboration and growth.
