Contract type: Full time
Great people. A great place to start.

At Buzzworks, we are more than just a hospitality group, we are a community of people who care about what we do and each other. Our purpose is simple: to make people feel great through hospitality, and that starts with our own teams.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic People Administrator to join our People Team. Whether you are taking your first step into a People role or bringing administration experience from another industry, this is a brilliant opportunity to learn, get involved and grow with us.

The Buzz

  • Training and development to support your journey
  • Opportunities to progress as our business grows
  • 40% staff discount across all Buzzworks venues
  • Extra holidays after 1, 3 and 5 years’ service
  • Stream App — access to earned pay, plus retail discounts & savings advice
  • Wellbeing support, including our Employee Assistance Programme, wellness hub and discounted gym membership
  • Top 100 Best Companies to work for 10 years in a row!

The Works

You will be at the heart of our People Team, supporting our People Business Partners and colleagues with daily admin, engagement and everyday People operations.

From helping a new team member get off to a great start to supporting a manager with a system query, you will help keep things running smoothly and make a difference to our teams across the business.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing day-to-day administration support across the People function
  • Building your knowledge of our People and recruitment systems, keeping records accurate and supporting venue teams with their use
  • Responding to everyday People queries with a friendly, helpful approach and directing more complex questions to the right person
  • Preparing People reports and keeping trackers up to date
  • Getting involved in projects that help us improve how we support our people as Buzzworks grows

About You

You are someone who enjoys bringing a little order to a busy day. You are curious, approachable and happy to get stuck in, whether that’s updating a spreadsheet, answering a query or learning something new.

You’ll bring:

  • Great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Clear communication skills and a friendly manner
  • A proactive approach and the ability to manage different priorities
  • Care and discretion when handling confidential information
  • An interest in people and a willingness to learn

Previous administration experience would be helpful, but you don’t need to have worked in HR before. We’ll provide training and support to help you build your confidence and skills.

A full driving licence and access to your own transport are required to support our venues.

Ready to find where you belong?

If you are looking for a role where you can learn, contribute and build a career in People, we’d love to hear from you.

Be you. Belong at Buzzworks.
