We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Barnsley Hub, leading a fast-paced operation across Inbound, Outbound, Manual and International.

Reporting to the Hub Manager, you’ll take responsibility for operational performance, people, resource and cost, ensuring we continue to deliver against our service and performance targets.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and optimise day-to-day hub operations.
  • Manage performance, resource, costs, compliance and health & safety.
  • Use data and insight to improve performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Support effective operational and Peak planning.
  • Build strong relationships across the wider operation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong operations management experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven responsibility for people, performance and cost.
  • A strong, data-led approach to operational decision-making.
  • Experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
