From complex repairs to the resolution of minor issues, your varied, but valued, contribution will help us create a hassle free environment for all.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Multi Skilled Electrician will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as occasional new minor installation work. You will work as part of the maintenance team and must demonstrate a sound knowledge of commercial electrical systems and be willing to assist with any other reactive maintenance tasks within reason when required. You will have the ability to work on their own initiative and improve efficiency. You will be required to participate in the company’s on call rota.

The Electrician Will Be Responsible For

• Work as part of the Graham FM Engineering Team with responsibility of the completion of planned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Completion of reactive and remedial tasks within contractual SLA’s. Y ou will play a key role in planning and completing a varied range of works mosty associated with electrical systems . This will also include installation and testing of these systems.
• Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.
• Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.
• Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.
• Reporting and recording of procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.
• Utilise PDAs and electronic devices to complete works.
• Liaise closely with our helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.
• Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
• Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.
• Provide regular out-of-hours cover on a rota system.

About You

Essential Criteria

• C&G Lv 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade
• Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391-52
• Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance
• AM2
• C&G 2382 18th Edition
• Current Full UK Driver’s License
  
  

Desirable Criteria

• IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card
• IT Skills – in the use of PDA’s
• ECS/CSCS H&S qualification
• IPAF and PASMA Trained
