Job Purpose
As our Local Business Development Manager, your primary focus is to proactively identify, target, and secure new business-to-business (B2B) opportunities across the local region. You will manage the entire corporate sales lifecycle—from initial outbound prospecting and high-level pitching to securing contract hire, leasing, and fleet agreements, all while delivering an experience that aligns with Audi’s premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively hunt for new corporate business through targeted outbound calling, local networking, LinkedIn prospecting, and field sales activity.

Conduct professional, bespoke consultations and presentations to business owners, managing directors, and fleet managers to understand their vehicle requirements.

FConstruct, negotiate, and close complex commercial transactions, utilizing a deep understanding of Business Contract Hire, leasing options, and corporate finance products.

Maintain a structured customer follow-up and CRM management system to maximize local fleet retention, repeat business, and referrals.

Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Audi product range, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax implications, and major competitor offerings.

Deliver accurate, timely reports on pipeline activity, prospecting KPIs, and sales forecasts to the Sales Manager.
What We Are Looking For

A strong track record in corporate sales, business development, or automotive fleet sales is highly desirable.

A demonstrable ability to self-generate leads, overcome objections, and successfully close high-value corporate contracts.

A confident, articulate, and highly professional manner capable of building immediate rapport with corporate clients and stakeholders.

An understanding of business finance, tax efficiencies, or fleet management (preferred, though specialist training will be given).

Valid UK Driving License: This is an field-based and dealership role, so a full license is essential.
